IAS Panel

IAS Panel is a question-and-answer website where questions are asked, answered, edited and organized by its community of users. The website was founded in July 2015, and was made available to the public on July 2, 2015. IAS Panel targets the netizens of India and seeks to provide a platform for quality discussion on serious topics of governance, politics, polity, environment, economy etc. The questions and answers are expected to be of standard of the questions asked in the exams conducted by UPSC. IAS Panel aggregates questions and answers into Categories. Users can collaborate by editing questions and suggesting edits to other users' answers.
==History==

IAS Panel was founded by an alumnus of IIT B.H.U, Pratyush Srivastava〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Why I Launched IAS Panel )〕 He said that he was inspired to create IAS Panel because "he thought that an online community for IAS preparation is one of those areas on the internet where there are a lot of sites, most of them had crappy interfaces and the good ones, like quora were too full of insincere questions to be of material benefit to students."〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Why I Launched IAS Panel )
Despite its limited geographical targeting, and relevance, IAS Panel had an estimated 500 registered users, as of July 2015. After a week, IAS Panel redesigned its website, in order to make information discovery and navigation easier. Also the website was made much light and a lot of scripts were removed so that the majority of Indian population still using 2g internet may also access it.
On July 8, 2014, IAS Panel introduced a feature called ''Stats'' that was inspired from quora Stats. This was expected to allow all IAS Panel users to see summary and detailed statistics regarding how many people had viewed, upvoted, followed, and shared their questions and answers.
